Getting Started
5.6.2 Inserting Release Paper of Self-adhesive Media
(Peel-off Mode)
If the release paper of self-adhesive media has been inserted:
The release paper will automatically be removed during
printing.
Requirements
The device is switched off.
Procedure
t Open the top cover.
t Open the front cover.
t Separate the release paper
from the media and feed it
through the release paper
opening.
t Close the front cover. The
front cover must snap into
place.
t Close the top cover.

Requirements
The device is switched off.
Procedure
t Open the top cover.
t Fold the front cover downward.
t Push the lever to the desired position, e.g. into the position
for thick paper.
t Fold the front cover upward and let it snap into place.
t Close the top cover.
5.6.4 Completing the Media Insertion
Procedure
t Define the media sensor and calibrate the sensors (see
Chapter “7.6 Calibrating Sensors and Changing Settings”,
page 18).
