(7) Correcting the Longitudinal Distortion
Use this procedure when replacing the mirror base driving wire.
1 Set an A3-size or 11" x 17" blank paper on the original table
while applying the paper end to the glass retaining plate and
aligning the paper side edge with the front frame, as shown in
the right figure.
2 Use an A3-size or 11" x 17" copy paper to take a full-size copy
with the original cover opened.
3 Measure the width of solid at front and rear ends of the copy
paper.
