3 Starting and Stopping the Instrument
3.1 Inspection before using the instrument
● Check that the room temperature is within the range of 10 - 28°C.
● Check that the power cable is correctly connected to the control
panel and the switch on the distribution board which supplies power
to the instrument is ON.
● Check that the grounding cable is correctly connected to the switch
panel.
● Check that the vacuum pump is working correctly.
● Check that the oil level of the vacuum pump is within the red circle
of the oil gauge while the pump is running.
● Check that the preset temperature of the air-conditioning system is
set at 40°C.
● Check that the electrode and the sample are correctly set on the
spark stand.
