4.4 Control modes (P1300)
MICROMASTER 430 has a number of different control modes based on U/f-
control. The individual modes have been listed below, additional settings are listed
in the parameter list and the function plans contained therein.
Ø Linear U/f control P1300 = 0
Can be used for variable and constant torque applications e.g. transport
systems and positive displacement pumps.
Ø Linear U/f control with flux current control (FCC) P1300 = 1
This type of control can be used to improve the performance and dynamic
behaviour of the motor.
Ø Parabolic U/f control P1300 = 2
This type of control can be used for variable torque loads e.g. fan and pumps.
Ø Multiple point U/f control P1300 = 3
Please refer to the MICROMASTER 430 parameter list for more information on
this operating mode.
Ø U/f control for textile applications P1300 = 5
There is no slip compensation gain or resonance dampening. The Imax
controller refers to voltage instead of frequency.
Ø U/f control with FCC for textile applications P1300 = 6
A combination of P1300 = 1 and P1300 = 5.
Ø U/f control with independent voltage set point P1300 = 19
Using the P1330, the voltage set point can be given independently from the
starting frequency of the ramp function generator (HLG).
