Fast user switching
The application of this function can trigger unwanted reactions, e.g. the restart of a PC station.
Requirement
● Execution with Administrator login
Procedure
1. Use the search box in the start menu to open the file "gpedit.msc".
The "Local Group Policy Editor" dialog box opens.
2. In the tree view, select "Local Computer Policies > Computer Configuration > Administrative
Templates > System > Logon.
3. Enable the option "Hide entry points for fast user switching".
4. Apply the settings.
The "Fast user switching" function is no longer available in the Windows Start menu after
logoff.
