5.7.1 Preparing the PC stations (overview)
Introduction
After installing the PCS 7 software, configure and set up the communication interfaces.
Requirements
The PCS 7 software and PCS 7 hardware have been installed.
The communications processors have been installed.

Overview of the individual steps
The following settings must be performed on all PC stations to allow all automation systems
(AS) and PC stations (for example OS, BATCH) of a PCS 7 project to be configured, loaded
and tested from one central engineering station (ES).
These settings first have to be made on the central engineering station.
