3.9.3 Connecting PC Stations via Wireless LAN
Connecting a PC station via Industrial Wireless LAN (IWLAN)
Industrial Wireless LAN (subsequently referred to as WLAN) allows you to integrate mobile or
stationary PC stations via an access point in a PCS 7 plant. You can integrate the following
PC stations:
OS clients
Up to 2 OS clients (via WLAN)
Web clients
Up to 2 web clients on a PCS 7 web server (via WLAN)
PC station
A PC station for remote access to an engineering station
