3.7.4 Maintenance station single station system
Overview
The Maintenance Station is used for the diagnostics and asset management of a PCS 7
plant.
The Maintenance Station as a single-station system consists of a PC station with engineering
station, OS single-station system and Maintenance Station.

Dedicated Maintenance Station on the redundant, fault-tolerant plant bus
If you want to connect a dedicated Maintenance Station using standard network adapters on
the redundant, fault-tolerant plant bus, read the information about configuration provided in
