Time synchronization
The communications processors of type CP 16xxsupport time synchronization on Industrial
Ethernet (Fast Ethernet). A PC with communications processors can receive time frames from
the following time transmitters:
● Master clock (SIMATIC SICLOCK TC 400 recommended)
● SIMATIC NET time transmitters for Industrial Ethernet
