3.5.3 Combination of engineering station and operator station on a single PC
Engineering station and operator station on a single PC
You can configure a small system, such as a training station, centrally for all PCS 7
components, for example, with OS, BATCH, Route Control, AS, with a single engineering
station.
You can combine the engineering station and an operator station for this purpose. The operator
station is configured as a so-called single station system in this case.
The example configuration below shows a plant with a common plant/terminal bus. Various
functions are carried out via this bus, for example, loading the configuration data to the target
systems, testing the plant and process mode.
