Installation of software
Please follow the instructions in Register 2, The
software: Installation of software. When you install
the operating functions, the installation program
from version V7.0 onwards additionally asks
whether you also wish to install the
GCLAN
or
GCARCHIV
.
GCLAN
Network summary
and
GCARCHIV Data man-
agement
are separate software packages. They can also
be installed subsequently. The installation program is
also present on these diskettes for this purpose.
Latest information on the software
Changes to the scope of delivery or
to individual program functions are
often carried out once the manuals
have already been edited. The instal-
lation diskettes may therefore con-
tain additional information. Please
observe the message which is dis-
played on the screen at the end of the
installation. This is particularly im-
portant
if you have already used an older
software version
or if you require information on
the latest software functions.
Once you have successfully termi-
nated the installation, you should
load the file README.TXT using
the MS-DOS editor and read it care-
fully. It is best if you print out this
file and enclose it with your do-
cumentation.
