How do I proceed?
Writing into an archive or reading from an archive
requires the following steps:
Select direction: write into archive or read from
archive
Select report or raw data
Select archive
Process information file
Select run
Trigger storing
Select method
Finished!!
Select direction,
select report or raw data
In the display Data management, you can select one of
four functions using the keys
Copy report and chromatogram into the archive
Copy raw data into the archive
Load report and chromatogram from the archive
Load raw data from the archive.
Set the cursor to the desired function.
Select archive
Press the function key in the
screen Data management. The control unit displays the
selection window. Using the key you can access
the selection fields in succession for:
Drive
Directory
Archive file
Archive file name.
Select existing archive
Select the drive, directory and archive name using the
keys , , and sub-
sequently confirm using .
Create new archive
Select the drive and directory using the keys and
in each case, type in the name
of the new archive, and confirm using .
NOTE:
Archives always have the extension
.GCA
. You need not type
in this extension.
If you wish to position your archive in a new subdirectory,
type in the name of the directory and the name of the archive
separated by a backslash (\).
