What is simulated, and what is not?
The simulation replies from a database. It simulates:
All parameters present in the method, including the
filling-in of the time events program, the filling-in
of the temperature program etc.
It cannot
Start runs
Execute the temperature program
Execute the time events program
Execute the clock time program
Generate actual values
Generate measured signals
Execute
BASIC
programs
Number of chromatographs
The
INITCHRO
command in
SIM.BAT
defines how
many chromatographs are simulated. If you are work-
ing with more than one chromatograph, all chromato-
graphs have the same parameter values because there is
only one simulation database.
Alternate use of
PGCSIM and BEDI
Both the operating and simulation functions work with
TSR programs. It is therefore necessary to always reset
the control unit when changing from operation to simu-
lation or vice versa.
