Edit information file
A text file is associated with each archive. You should
save information on what you have stored, and when,
in this file. You can also enter the setup of the chroma-
tograph. You need not enter the analytical parameters
here because you can store an analytical method (see
below).
Press the function key in the screen Data
management. The text editor shows the line marker and
the text cursor on the first character.
Save modifications
Press in order to save your inputs and to
leave the text editor.
Reject modifications
It may occur that you do not wish to store what you
have just written. Press in this case to
reject your modifications and to leave the text editor.
Generate text pattern
If you wish to create several similar archives, it is rec-
ommendable to generate a text pattern for the informa-
tion file. Write all texts which you require repeatedly
into the information file, and then press
. If you then create a new
archive, the information file already has these contents.
