4.8.13 Locking provision to prevent closing of the withdrawable circuit breaker
when the control cabinet door is open
4.8.13.1 Description
The locking provision for withdrawable circuit breakers prevents closing independently of
the breaker when the control cabinet door is open. A Bowden cable is used for
interlocking.
This locking provision cannot be combined with:
• Locking provision to prevent racking of the circuit breaker when the control cabinet
door is open
On request only, it can be combined with:
• Locking provision to prevent racking of the circuit breaker in the disconnected
position, all makes of safety lock
Note
The locking provision to prevent closing of the withdrawable circuit breaker when the
control cabinet door is open can only be installed at the factory. Retrofitting is not
possible.
