3.4.2 Energy counters
Energy counters
SENTRON PAC3100 has energy counters for counting
Active energy import
Active energy export
Reactive energy import
Reactive energy export
The device also calculates the energy balance
Active energy balance
Reactive energy balance
The energy balance is calculated from: Import minus export.
Availability
Two of the 6 variables can be represented on the display and read out via the interface. The
selection can be made when parameterizing the device.
3.4.3 Behavior in the case of power failure and power restore
After a power failure, the device starts back at zero with the calculation of the power demand
of the total active power and total reactive power.
Counter statuses and maximum/minimum values are written from the volatile to the non-
volatile memory at the following intervals:
Counter values Every 5 mins.
Maximum/minimum values Every 5 secs., if available
