6.4 Connection examples
Some connection examples are listed below: They show connection in:
Three-wire or four-wire systems
with unbalanced load
With/without voltage transformer
with current transformer
The device can be operated up to the maximum permissible voltage values with or without
voltage measuring transformers.
It is only possible to measure the current with current transformers.
All input or output terminals not required for measuring remain free.
In the connection examples, the secondary side of the transformer is grounded at the "l"
terminal. It can be grounded at either the "k" or the "l" terminal. The grounding has no impact
on the measurement.
The wiring method must be made known to the device in the device settings. The connection
types given below refer to the device parameterization.
