Grounding
Conductive panels and doors on control cabinets must be grounded. The doors of the control
cabinet must be connected to the control cabinet using a grounding cable.

The connection "functional ground" discharges interference affecting the digital inputs
and outputs and the RS 485 interface.
Connect the functional ground to the equipotential bonding strip in the control cabinet.
The maximum cable length for connecting the functional ground is 3 meters.
