Requirements
• You are familiar with the information on expansion cards and the conditions of use of
expansion cards, see "Usable expansion cards (Page 65)".
• The device is open, see important information regarding this under "Open device with
expansion slot (Page 63)".
• If the PCIe card to be used has external interfaces, you can use the installed slot brackets
for mounting the connectors. You can also use a slot plate with connector perforations.
• Screwdriver of type Torx T10
Procedure - Installation
1.
Remove the screw (1) in the blanking
plate for the slot and remove the blanking
plate.
2.
Remove the retainer (2).
3.
Insert the expansion card into the slot on
the bus board (3).
Secure the expansion card with the corre-
sponding screw.
