In the following parameter groups you network the Ethernet interface and configure the IP
address parameters.

The parameter group is available only when using the ST7 protocol and when MSC
communication is enabled.
You configure the user name and password for the authentication with the MSC protocol in
the security functions.
The description applies to the parameter group of an Ethernet interface with the Network
node type "Master station". The parameter group is disabled for the CP.
Access to the MSC master station
First set whether the MSC master station or the router should be reachable with DNS via a
fixed or a dynamic IP address.
The MSC master station is connected to the Internet via a router.
