Partner stations
The parameter group is only displayed in the following situations:
CP with firmware version V2.1
Only with communication type "ST7" activated.
Here you import the configuration data (SDBs) from the STEP 7 V5 project.
After importing the SDBs, the data is displayed for parameter groups "Subscriber X" for
the individual communications partners.
CP with firmware version V3
Only with communication type "DNP3" or "IEC" activated.
Note:
When using the ST7 protocol, the relationships of the communications partners are are
not configured in this parameter group but via telecontrol connections.
4.10.1
Importing configuration data (ST7)
Importing the configuration data from STEP 7 V5
Follow the steps below to import the configuration data from STEP 7 V5
1. In your STEP 7 Basic project, select the CP into which you want to import the SDBs from
the STEP 7 V5 project.
2. Select the "Partner stations" parameter group.
3. Click the "Import partner configuration" button.

4. From the file system of the engineering station open the text file that you exported from
the CP proxy from the STEP 7 V5 project.

As the result of the import in the "Partner stations" parameter group you can see newly
created directories "Subscriber X".
In the "Imported configuration data file", the file name of the imported SDBs is displayed.
