Wait time (s) before accepting an incoming call
The wait time makes it possible for the CP to accept the call when a telephone is
connected parallel to the CP on a shared telephone connector.
Default setting: 0. Permitted range: 0...30
●
The test interval (min) is started when no connection could be established by the CP after
3 attempted repetitions. When the test interval elapses, the CP re-establishes the
connection.
If the connection establishment fails, on the other hand, the test interval is restarted.
Default setting: 5. Permitted range: 0...255
●
Minimum connection duration
Only for interfaces with the Network node type "Master station".
Minimum connection duration (s) for a dial-up connection.
The minimum connection duration may be required in fast dial-up networks to be able to
wait for the reply during a general request before the connection is terminated.
Default setting: 5. Permitted range: 0...65535
●
Duration (s) a dial-up connection is retained when the send buffer of the CP is full and the
CP can forward no further frames or data to the CPU.
During the abort delay time, received frames are acknowledged negatively and the
communications partner repeats sent and negatively acknowledged frames.
When the abort delay time elapses, the connection is terminated.
Default setting: 20. Permitted range: 0...255
●
