WARNING
The older non-compiled TI520/TI530 EPROMs are not
compatible
with any other Series 500 or Series 505
PLCs.
Attempting to interchange the EPROMs may cause
injury to personnel or damage to equipment because of
unexpected
operation of the PLC.
When you power up a TI525/TI535, the PLC checks the status of the
EPROM/EEPROM and the battery. A “clear” (unprogrammed)
EPROM/EEPROM
is
equivalent to there being no EPROM/EEPROM installed.
