In Figure 5-7, the 1 in Bit 10 indicates that slot seven in Base 0 contains a
malfunctioning
or incorrectly configured module (I/O mismatch). All other slots
either
contain a working module or no module at all.

NOTE
When
a distributed base loses communication with the PLC, the
appropriate
bit in STW02 shows a 1, and
the corresponding bits
in
STW12 to STW18 show zeroes, even if modules
on that base
have failed or been incorrectly configured. That is, modules do
not
show failures on a base that is not present.
