Connecting cable to the encoder
The maximum cable length depends on the specification for the encoder supply
and the baud rate. If you use pre-assembled SIEMENS connecting cables (see
Catalogs NC Z/NC 60/ST 70), problem-free operation can be guaranteed only if
the following values are not exceeded:
