Installation
Overview
In this chapter we will explain how to design the mechanical configuration, prepare
the SIMOTION components for installation and install them.
To mount the SIMOTION C modules, you must pay attention to the design of the
electrical configuration. For this, please read Chapter 6 on “Wiring”.
Open equipment
The modules are open equipment. This means they may only be installed in hous-
ings, cabinets or in electrical equipment rooms that can only be entered or ac-
cessed with a key or tool. Housings, cabinets or electrical operating areas may
only be accessed by trained or authorized personnel.
