8.1.2 LED display
Meaning of LEDs
The meaning of the LEDs and their colors is described in the table below.
LED display Meaning Description
SF Red Fault The fault state of the SIMOTION P320-4 is displayed.
RUN Green SIMOTION P320-4 in RUN
mode
The user program is running.
STOPU Yellow SIMOTION P320-4 in the
STOP User Program
The technology packages (e.g. synchronous operation, cam) are ac‐
tive. Test and commissioning functions can be executed without a
user program.
The user program is not active.
STOP Yellow SIMOTION P320-4 in STOP
mode
There is no user program running.
The technology packages are not active.
SF PN Red PROFINET bus fault A fault state is displayed on the PROFINET interface (X3).
SY/MT Yellow Sync of the PROFINET inter‐
face
It is displayed whether the PROFINET interface has been synchron‐
ized.
BUS1F Red Group fault A fault state is displayed on the IsoPROFIBUS interface (X101).
BUS2F Red Group fault A fault state is displayed on the IsoPROFIBUS interface (X102).
