• Never push the control switch or
joystick through the neutral posi-
tion and directly to the opposite
direction. Before pushing the
switch to the next function posi-
tion, move it back to the neutral
position and stop, and then move
it with slow and uniform force to
perform the next function.
• Unless in case of emergency, it is
forbidden to perform operations
from the ground if any person is
still on the platform.
• When there are two or more oper-
ators on the platform, all opera-
tions of the machine must be
conducted by one person.
• Always operate the machine in
well-ventilated conditions to avoid
carbon monoxide or nitrogen ox-
ide poisoning.
• Before leaving the machine, the
platform should be completely
lowered and all power should be
cut off.
Electrocution Hazard
• This machine is not insulated and
not equipped with electrocution
protection function.
• Do not use this machine in thun-
der and lightning or rainstorm
weather. In the event of thunder
and lightning or rainstorm while
operating the machine, immedi-
ately fully lower the platform in a
safe and stable position and cut
off all power sources, to avoid
personal injury or machine
damage.
• Comply with the national or re-
gional provisions about minimum
safety distance from live conduc-
tors. In absence of such provi-
sions, comply with Page 7, Table
2-1 Minimum Safe Distance, to
keep a minimum safety distance
from electric wires, electrical
equipment or any live (bare or in-
sulated) components. The mini-
mum safety distance shall be
determined with machine move-
ment, electric wire swinging or
drooping considered.
• If rated insulating barriers appro-
priate to the voltage of electric
wire are installed, the minimum
safety distance can be shortened.
Such barriers cannot be taken as
a part of the machine or fixed on
the machine. Reducing the mini-
mum safety distance with insulat-
ing barriers must comply with
relevant national or regional
regulations.
• Do not use the machine as a
ground wire during welding and
polishing operations.
