4.1.3 Plastic Carrier & Key Foil ass’y
Separate the key foil (1) from the plastic carrier by
loosening it from the adhesive (2).
GENTLY BEND THE KEY FOIL FLEX FILM (1) UNDERNEATH THE
PLASTIC CARRIER TO PREVENT IT FROM GETTING SQUEEZED
!

E CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE THE KEY SWITCH FLEX FILM (2)
WHEN SLIDING THE PLASTIC CARRIER INTO THE FRAME
!
Press and snap the plastic carrier onto the frame.
Connect the key foil flex film board-to-board connector to
the PBA with your fingers or with the ‘flex film assembly
tool’.
