4.4 Quality Assurance test
Additional Quality Assurance (QA) exposures can
be taken after installation and periodically to
ensure that the image quality remains stabile. The
QA exposures can be taken using a special QA
program.
To take QA images you need an additional Cu
(Copper) fi lter, Digital Test Tool (Prüfkörper test
tool) and Ball and Pin phantom that need to be
ordered separately.
There are different thicknesses of the Cu-fi lters,
select the correct one depending on the national
requirements.
The unit provides two different QA program
selections (QA1 and QA2):
- QA1 is intended for use with 0,8mm thick Cu
fi lter (in accordance to IEC61223-3-4)
- QA2 is intended for use with 1.8mm thick Cu
fi lter.
