13.7 Expansion connectors (CN9 and CN10)
Attention: Refer to Section 12.10 Expansion connectors for detailed electrical and functional constraints and refer to
Section 7.3 Mechanical drawings for mechanical constraints.
The two expansion connectors are described hereafter:
• CN9 is a 30‑pin double row, female, through‑hole, 2.54 mm pitch connector of about 8.5 mm insulator
height.
• CN10 is a 38‑pin double row, female, through‑hole, 2.54 mm pitch connector of about 8.5 mm insulator
height.
The connector references used on MB1829 main board are:
• SSW-115-21-F-D from SAMTEC
• SSW-119-21-F-D from SAMTEC
Possible compatible through hole‑mating connectors are (other references might be available, refer to suppliers’
data to identify the mating connectors type you need):
• TSW-115-08-F-D from SAMTEC
• TSW-119-08-F-D from SAMTEC
