6.1 Tools, aids
– Locking pin - 4130 893 7800
– Torque wrench – 5910 890 0312 or equivalent tool
– Socket 17 mm – 5910 893 5610 or equivalent tool
– 17 mm box wrench, offset
– Flex ratchet wrench
– Extension for flex ratchet wrench
– Loctite 270 (thread-locking adhesive, high strength) –
0786 111 2109
6.2 Removing the middle belt pulley
N Prepare for repair, @ 3.1.
N Remove guard, @ 4.2.
N Remove “starter cover with rewind starter”, @ 4.2.
N Remove the rear V belt, @ 4.2.
N Remove the front V belt, @ 4.4.
N Unscrew the nut (1) (left-hand thread).
N Remove washer (2).
N Pull off the belt pulley (3).
6.3 Installing the middle belt pulley
N Push on the belt pulley (3).
N Slide on the washer (2).
N Screw on and tighten nut (1) (left-hand thread).
N Install the front V belt, @ 4.5.
N Install the rear V belt, @ 4.3.
N Install “starter cover with rewind starter”, @ 4.3.
N Fit guard, @ 4.3.
6.4 Removing the front belt pulley
N Prepare for repair, @ 3.1.
N Remove the rear V belt, @ 4.2.
N Remove the front V belt, @ 4.4.
N Block belt pulley (6) with locking pin (arrow)
4130 893 7800.
N Unscrew the nut (4) (left-hand thread).
N Remove washer (5).
