8.3 Installing the brake band
N Actuate the brake lever (5) and hold it there.
N Hook brake band (4) onto the lever (6).
N Insert brake band (4) into guide (arrow).
N Slowly release brake lever (5).
N Insert brake band (4) and press it into the
support (arrow).
N Coat thread of screw (3) with thread-locking
adhesive.
N Insert screw (3) and tighten.
N Insert holding-down clamp (2).
N Insert screws (1) and tighten.
N Install connector, @ 7.3.
N Install the rear V belt, @ 4.3.
N Install “starter cover with rewind starter”, @ 4.3.
N Fit guard, @ 4.3.
