12.1 Tools, aids
– Socket T20x125 – 0812 542 2041 or equivalent tool
– Torque wrench – 5910 890 0302 or equivalent tool
– Screwdriver T20 – 5910 890 2301 or equivalent tool
– Wiring tool - 5910 890 4000
– STIHL press fluid – 0781 957 9000
– Loctite 242 (thread-locking adhesive, medium
strength) – 0786 111 2101
12.2 Removing the generator
N Prepare for repair, @ 3.1
N Remove fan cover, @ 11.2.
N Remove flywheel, @ 11.2.
N Remove electronic module, @ 14.2.
N Pull insulating hose (1) and plug connection out of
guide.
N Disconnect plug connection.
N Pull grommet (7) out of the support.
N Pull generator wire (6) out of grommet (7).
