1. Lift the vehicle bumper to the raised position, if equipped.
2. Measure from the end of the floor plate to the end of the bumper to determine how far you can move the anchor toward
the head end (

NNoottee -- If the distance measured is less than 18 in. (46 cm), you can shift PPoowweerr--LLOOAADD closer to the head end of the
vehicle patient compartment by a maximum of 18 in. (46 cm) and the measured distance.
WWAARRNNIINNGG -- Always allow for bumper clearance. Inadequate bumper clearance could result in patient or operator
injury.
