5. Place the sample tube in to the correct position in the sample holder.
6. Press the start switch on the front of the main unit. The sample holder will retract and smear
preparation starts. When the sample aspiration is completed the sample holder is ejected out
automatically.
7. Once complete, remove sample and close the sample tube holder by pressing the mode switch
on the front of the main unit.
8. The prepared smears, once complete will be stored in the magazine. The magazine is
automatically ejected to the storage location. Magazines can be manually ejected using the
‘Eject’ switch.
