Manual – Smear Only
To perform a smear only:
1. Make sure the SP-50 is in manual mode by pressing the mode switch to eject the sample tube
holder.
2. Check the status indicator LED of the instrument and magazine holders are green. Load an
empty magazine into the manual magazine holder.
