3.12.2 Change a Discount
Procedure
1. Index the number of the closed check.
2. Press {RECALL~CHECK}.
3. Check displays on the screen.
4. Press {VOID}.
5. If prompted, index a manager I.D. number and press {TOTAL}.
6. Use the up and down arrow keys to highlight the discount.
• NOTE: Highlighting an item discount will also highlight the
item to which it was applied.
7. Press {VOID} again. The discount is removed from the check.
• NOTE: Voiding an item discount also voids the item to
which it was applied.
8. Enter the correct discount to the check.
9. Press the {MEDIA} key originally used to tender the check.
10. If the check total is less than the original total, the screen
prompts:
Refund?
11. Index {1} to refund the amount of the voided items.
