> You can now set the brightness in three steps from High to Medium to Low
and O (only in standby mode).

17.10 Data protection notice
> Press the MENU buon and then select [Main Menu > System Seings >
Data Protection].
If you are in a submenu, select the main menu as described in Section 7.1.
Here you will find a link to the current data protection information relating to your
device.

18 Charging function for external devices
The DIGITRADIO 585 has a wired and wireless (to Qi standard) charging function for
external devices such as mobile phones and smartphones.
Warning: Do not use both variants at the same time. This can cause damage
to your devices.
18.1 Wired charging of external devices
Use the original charging cable (USB) for your external device and insert the USB
plug into the USB port (24) on the rear of the DIGITRADIO 585.
The external device can be charged at a maximum of 5 V and 1 A.
18.2 Wireless charging of external devices
If your external device has a wireless charging function (wireless charging to Qi
standard), you can place it on the charging mat on the top of the DIGITRADIO
585. The display of your external device must be facing upwards when doing so. If
correctly orientated, the charging process will begin automatically. Please refer to
the instruction manual for your external device for more information on wireless
baery charging.
19 Control via Amazon Alexa
You can control the DIGITRADIO 585 conveniently via an Amazon Echo device using
the Alexa voice assistant. Several basic requirements are needed for this.
1. The DIGITRADIO 585 must be connected to the Internet.
2. You need an Amazon Alexa compatible device, such as Amazon Echo,
which has a registered Amazon account and is also connected to the
Internet.
3. The DIGITRADIO 585 and Amazon Echo device must be located on the
same network.
