6.5 Access control
6.5.1 Overview
The access control function enables you to allow or disallow the wireless devices to access the
wireless network of the AP based on their MAC addresses.
The AP supports the following 2 filter modes:
Forbid only: It indicates that only the wireless devices with the specified MAC addresses cannot
access the wireless networks of the AP.
Permit only: It indicates that only the wireless devices with the specified MAC addresses can
access the wireless networks of the AP.
Access Control is disabled by default. The following figure displays the page when Access Control is
enabled.
