In the database, the zone is marked as deleted and disabled, but not
deleted. A disabled zone is only visible in the time period in which it was
active.
7.2.5.4 Assigning zones
You can limit zone access to certain users and user groups. Multiple selection is
also possible.
Zones are visible to all users as standard.

Users or user groups are created in the active directory.

In the navigation area click on System.

In the System | Security menu, select the Authorizations command.

The Authorizations window opens.

Mark zone for which access needs to be limited.

Click on [Search].

The Search window opens where the users or user groups from the
Active Directory are listed.

Mark users or user groups that should be given access to the selected
zone.

Confirm the input with [OK].

The selected users are assigned to the relevant zone in the
Authorizations window.

Click on [OK].
