(f) Seat structure is not loose on the carriage floor (170).
(g) Claw assemblies (465) are securely attached and are not damaged.
(h) Eight thrust bearings (475) are securely attached and not worn or damaged.
(i) Track feet (220)/(285), locking pins (250)/(315) and secure locking plungers (240)/(305) are se-
curely attached and are not damaged.
(j) Nylon coating on the track feet (220) and (285) is not damaged or worn, replace the track feet if
bare metal is visible.
(k) Two floor locking plungers (195) are not damaged or corroded.
(l) Four retaining spigots (180) are not damaged or corroded.
C. Examine the bucket and backrest assemblies.
(1) Visually examine the bucket assembly and backrest assemblies, make sure:
(Ref. IPL Fig. 1, Sheets 1 and 4 thru 9)
(a) There are no signs of corrosion, distortion, scoring or wear.
(b) There are no cracks or loose rivets.
(c) The two vertical gas struts (525) are securely attached to the anchor pins (450).
(d) The two anchor pins (450) are securely attached to the bucket assembly (745).
(e) The two recline gas struts (685) are securely attached to the bucket crossbeam (715) and bucket
assembly (745), and are not damaged or corroded.
(f) The bucket crossbeam (715) and guard (90) are securely attached to the backrest assembly
(350), and are not damaged.
(g) The grommet (30) is correctly installed on the LH side of the guard (90) and is not damaged.
(h) The grommet (460) is correctly installed on the bottom RH side of the bucket assembly (745) and
is not damaged.
(i) The spools (790) for the lap and crotch straps are securely attached to the bucket assembly
(745), and are not damaged or worn.
(j) The fore/aft lever (355), raise/lower lever (380) and recline lever (375) are securely attached to
the lever brackets (405), and are not damaged or distorted.
(k) The rotate lever (645) is securely attached to bucket assembly (745) and is not damaged.
(l) The two spools (875) for the harness inertia reels are securely attached to the backrest assembly
(350) and are not damaged or worn.
(m) The two armrests (580), armrest screws (585) and armrest covers (605)/(615) are securely at-
tached, and are not damaged.
