WARNING WHEN YOU USE RTV ADHESIVE OBEY THE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET AND
APPLY AS SHOWN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER. THIS
MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS AND CAN KILL OR CAUSE AN INJURY.
- Apply a a thin layer of RTV adhesive to a polythene cover plug (400) then install the plug on the
cable end of the recline lever (375). Make sure the ball end of the cable is attached to the recline
lever.
- Do the seat recline inspection to make sure the recline plungers (720) disengage from the backrest
assembly (350) correctly. Refer to “TESTING AND FAULT ISOLATION” on page 101.
(3) Vertical plungers, cable and lever:
- Install the raise/lower lever (380), refer to para (2) above.
WARNING
WHEN YOU USE GREASE ASG 64 OBEY THE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET AND
APPLY AS SHOWN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER.
- Apply a thin coat of ASG 64 to the two springs (510) and two vertical lock plungers (505).
- Install a vertical lock plunger (505) and spring (510) to each lower frames (810) and (815).

WHEN YOU USE LOCTITE 222 OBEY THE MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET AND
APPLY AS SHOWN IN THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE MANUFACTURER. THIS
MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS AND CAN KILL OR CAUSE AN INJURY.
- Apply a thin coat of Loctite 222, to the threads of the two vertical lock pin housings (515).
- Carefully install each of the vertical lock pin housings (515) over the vertical lock plunger (505) and
spring (510), and into the top receptacle in the related lower frame (810) and (815). If necessary,
push down on the bucket assembly to align/install the vertical lock plungers.
- Connect the plunger ends of the vertical cable assembly (435) to the vertical plungers (505) with
a split pin (520).
- Make sure the vertical cable assembly (435) is correctly routed, (refer to Fig 1).
- Install the threaded end of the vertical cable assembly (435) to the crossbeam (part of the bucket
assembly (745)) with the nut (440).
- Install the cable ball end to the raise/lower lever (380).

- Apply a thin layer of RTV adhesive to a polythene cover plug (400) then install the plug on the cable
end of the raise/lower lever (380). Make sure the ball end of the cable (435) is attached to the raise/
lower lever.
- Do the seat raise/lower inspection to make sure the vertical lock plungers (505) disengage from
the bucket assembly (745) correctly. Refer to “TESTING AND FAULT ISOLATION” on page 101.
(4) Fore/aft cable and lever:
- Install the fore/aft lever assembly (355) and spacer (360) to the LH lever bracket (405) on the bot-
tom of the bucket assembly with the clevis pin (365) and split pin (370).
- Install the ball end of the fore/aft cable assembly (420) on the fore/aft lever assembly (355).
