ELECTRICAL CONNECTORS - MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1. General
A. Electrical connectors are used to join airplane wire bundles, electronics wiring and antenna cables.
This section provides
information about contacts and insertion/extraction
tools used with connectors.
To locate a connector in this section refer to Table 201. For crimp tool and positioner information used
with a contact, refer to Table 202.
B. Electrical connectors may use solder-type or crimp-type contacts.
C. Some typical tools
used with crimp-type connectors are shown
in Figure 201. Refer to Figure 205 for
typical crimping instructions.
