installed terminals
and
splices
shall
offer
no
more
resistance
across
the
terminal
than
an
equivalent
length
of
wire
of
the same
gage
to
which
the
terminal
is
attached.

Tension
Load
Testing.
(1)
To
test
crimping
tools
used
for installing
terminals
and splices,
a
sample
wire and
terminal
or
splice
should
withstand
the
tension
loads
in
Table
215.
