the system is used to replace other units which do not
have auto-restart, or for use with motion control de-
vices. In many applications, torch parts life may be
improved by disabling auto-restart to reduce exces-
sive pilot arc time.
NOTE
Either pole set to 1 (on) disables auto-restart func-
tion.

Normal mode provides an immediate pilot restart
whenever the main arc is interrupted and the Auto-
Restart switch SW1 is set to ENABLE. Delayed mode
provides a gas pre-flow each time before the pilot arc
restarts. In some shape-cutting applications, it may
not be desirable to immediately restart the main arc
after the torch passes beyond the desired cutting line
(or between cuts).
NOTE
Either pole set to 1 (on) sets delayed auto-restart
function.
