Run the tune and calibration procedure after you obtain a good FC-43 ion signal.
Y To tune and calibrate your mass spectrometer automatically in the EI, positive
ion mode
1. Display the FC-43 positive ion mass spectrum as described in the previous section.
2. Click the System Tune and Calibration button (or choose Setup > System Tune and
Calibration) to display the System Tune and Calibration dialog box (see Figure 35).
