Running Maintenance Tune
Use the maintenance tune procedure in EZ Tune to quickly increase the ion signal of the mass
spectrometer. The maintenance tune adjusts the lens L1 voltage and the lens L11 offset
voltage to maximize the ion signal for, for example, m/z 219 in FC-43 positive polarity mode.
At the end of the procedure you can save the optimized lens L1 voltage to a tune file and the
optimized lens L11 offset voltage to a calibration file. Figure 39 shows a maintenance tune
report.
