Capillaries Inspection and Replacement

3. Locate the capillaries. See Figure 5-1 and Figure 7-2.

4. Remove the Cajon® fitting(s) from the reaction chamber body using a
5/8-inch wrench.
5. Remove the glass capillaries and O-ring. Inspect O-ring for cuts or
abrasion, and replace as necessary.
6. Check capillary for particulate deposits. Clean or replace as necessary.
7. Replace capillary in reaction chamber body, making sure the O-ring is
around the capillary before inserting it into the body.
8. Replace Cajon® fitting. Note that the Cajon® fitting should be replaced
only hand tight.
9. Re-install the cover.
10. Connect the power cord and turn the instrument ON.
