18.9. Self-Check (Use Switches 7 and 8.)
You can execute the unit's self-check, and can conrm the history storage memory error.

Step 1. Set Switches 7 and 8 to the ON position.
Step 2. Press the Start/Stop key.
The "tESt." (TEST) indication appears on the Status display, and start the self-check.
The "tEST." indication disappears when self-check is completed.
Tip
The "Err51" indication appears on the Status display when an error is detected in the history storage
memory.
Step 3. Set Switches 7 and 8 to the OFF position.
Tip
Self-check can be executed through the front key operation during standby in Lock mode.
Self-check will stop when playing, recording, or deleting operation is executed or when the unit is placed in
Maintenance mode.
